On Gotta Love Carpet Pythons, Update with my girl Lacy who has started her injections and what an amazing girl she is. Lacy is so placid and didn't even flinch while having her injection. l want to update you to today being Thursday on Lacy as well. Lacy has had her X-Rays yesterday and the reason for this was to check that she had no infection in the bones in her head and am so pleased to say that it was clear. There is a spot showing up on the inside of her head but the vet feels there is nothing to worry about. Lacy was sedated and given an enema as well and managed to get the majority out but still, has a little bit in there. Certainly, the warm baths and massage helped Lacy, as a lot of it had moved right down. The vet does not know why Lacy has an infection, though l believe a rat she ate was not good. How can you tell when a rat is not good, you can't unfortunately. Lacy has two courses of antibiotics being 8 injections and hopefully, this will clear it up and she will be back to old self in no time.
