
*OPEN THIS* Similar waffle iron: http://amzn.to/2tmly0G Subscribe by clicking here https://goo.gl/oZ7Zxn Full recipe is below For the waffles: 1 c flour 1 t baking powder ½ t salt 2 T softened butter 2 T sugar 1 egg 1 t vanilla 1 c milk 12 small popsicle sticks For the animal cookie butter: 30 circus animal cookies ¼ c evaporated milk ¼ c melted butter 1 cup heavy cream* (this is the updated quantity) 12 oz white chocolate Additional 1 c melted white chocolate with 1 t coconut oil ¼ c sliced almonds ¼ c crushed circus animal cookies ¼ c powdered sugar Preheat oven to 250 degrees F and preheat a waffle iron. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl and set aside. In a medium bowl cream butter and sugar, then mix in egg, vanilla, and milk. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients and mix. Pour in ½ c of batter, place four popsicle sticks in each fourth, pour another tablespoon of batter over the sticks to cover. Cook for 3 minutes then transfer to a wire rack and place in the oven to keep warm. In a food processor, blitz cookies into a fine crumb. Add in butter and evaporated milk and pulse until cookie butter forms a base. Set aside. Heat heavy cream on medium heat. Pour white chocolate in a bowl. When cream foams, turn off heat and pour all the liquid in the white chocolate bowl. Let sit for 5 minutes. Add in the cookie butter and stir until everything is melted. Set aside. Melt the additional white chocolate in the microwave 30 seconds at a time and stirring in between each interval. Mix in coconut oil to achieve runny consistency. Take a waffle and dip in animal cookie frosting, then add white chocolate, almonds, more white chocolate, cookies, more white chocolate, and powdered sugar. Makes 12 waffle pops. Today we’re making waffle pops! I just came back from southern california and when I was looking for food I came across Sweet Combforts in Irvine, CA. I mean look at these pictures and these ones on instagram. When I got there, I had to choose these awesome flavors and I landed on the Circus animal cookie flavor. When I tried it, it was a dense chewy waffle with a magic animal cookie frosting, white chocolate, powdered sugar and sliced almond delight. Today I’m going to recreate at home. To prevent sticking, preheat your waffle iron nice and hot. Then add in baking powder, and salt to your flour. Give that a good whisk, set it aside and In a medium mixing bowl cream together softened butter and sugar. Then add in egg and vanilla and mix well before adding in a cup a milk. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and then move the batter into a jug with a spout so it’s easy to pour later Get some popsicle sticks. And In a very hot waffle iron, pour ½ c of batter into the machine, add in four popsicle sticks, and a tablespoon of batter on top of the sticks. Remember, a well heated iron prevents sticking without any spray or extra oil. Close the top and let cook for 3 minutes. When the light turns back on, take out the waffles with the now very convenient handles. Cut into fourths and place it on a wire rack in the oven to crisp up and stay warm. To make the magic circus animal cookie frosting, I added 30 cookies into a food processor and blitz it up into fine crumbles. Add in butter and some evaporated milk. Decide that you need a little more butter, blitz, and we have cookie butter! Hit subscribe for more cookie butters in the future! Heat up heavy cream into a sauce pan and pour a whole bag of white chocolate into a bowl. When the milk scalds, kill the heat and pour over the white chocolate. Let sit for 5 minutes. In the meantime, get your piping bag ready. Whisk until smooth. At this point, figure out that there is way too much of this ganache and remove half of it. Stir in the cookie butter and be happy with the result. Melt some additional white chocolate in 30 second increments in the microwave. This ended up taking about 90 seconds. Stir and add in a little coconut oil to make it the perfect consistency. At this point, get the chocolate into the piping bag and tie off the end. We are ready to assemble. Almonds, bashed up animal cookies, white chocolate, and frosting. Take the waffle and dip it into the animal cookie frosting, white chocolate, almonds, more chocolate, cookies, more chocolate and finish with powdered sugar.
